Hello :) I successfully defended my thesis "Quantum Sensing with Many-Body Systems" this July at University College Dublin! As of September, I’ll be a bit of a free agent and am actively looking for a postdoctoral position at the interface of quantum information theory and condensed matter physics. My research so far has focused on quantum sensing, quantum criticality, and Kondo physics. That said, I’m curious about a whole range of topics — from open quantum systems and many-body physics to quantum transport… and more! Before my PhD, I completed an MSc in Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (First Class Honours, October 2020) at University College Dublin, and a BSc in Physics with Biomedical Sciences (First Class Honours, September 2019) at Dublin City University. Outside of physics, I’m a qualified divemaster, a keen photographer, and generally love anything outdoors :D
